Christian Contreras is an attorney, civil rights activists, and community leader.
Mr. Contreras has a robust law practice in the areas of civil rights, personal injury, trials and criminal defense. In his capacity as a lawyer, Mr. Contreras litigates a broad range of cases affecting constitutional rights both in civil rights cases and criminal defense cases. So far, in 2023 alone, Mr. Contreras has taken five (5) cases to trial. Mr. Contreras is the principal of the Christian Contreras Firm, PLC, a partner with the civil rights firm, Guizar, Henderson & Carrazco, LLP, and a civil rights activists with Justice X.
Mr. Contreras currently serves on the board of directors for the East Los Angeles College Foundation, board of directors for the Protesters Defense Alliance, board of directors for the Mexican American Bar Association ("MABA") and is board of Peoples College of Law. Mr. Contreras was also recently appointed as California state-wide legal advisor to the League of United Latin American Citizens ("LULAC").
Finally, Mr. Contreras also teaches civil rights at the law school, Peoples College of Law in Los Angeles, California.
